NTP/IRIG Time Server with Dual-Channel GNSS-Locked 10 MHz OCXO Reference (NR8001-NTP)
A low cost high performance timing reference in a compact chassis that can be shelf or rack mounted (rack mount kit available). The three output ports are independently user-selectable to be IRIG, 10 MHz or PPS. Timing that is accurate in the tens of usec. NTP that is in the tens of usec. PPS leading edge can be locked to the 10 MHz in 5 ns steps especially important when used in a SDR application.

The Novus NS8001-NTP delivers precise time and frequency synchronization for laboratories, telecom systems, power utilities, and secure networks. . With integrated SNMP monitoring, Ethernet access, and front-panel status indicators, this NTP time server ensures continuous operation and simplified system diagnostics for demanding applications.
FAQ
- What happens if GNSS lock is lost?
Auto-calibration applies stored compensation coefficients, maintaining OCXO stability (5 ppb/day typical) until lock is restored. - Which satellite constellations are supported?
The system tracks GPS, GLONASS, SBAS, and QZSS to minimize lock time and enhance reliability.
